Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients to assess their mental and emotional states and to identify specific needs related to trauma.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique challenges and goals.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques to empower patients in managing stress and trauma.

• Monitor patient progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment strategies as necessary to achieve effective outcomes.

• Educate staff and patients on coping mechanisms and strategies for dealing with stress and trauma.

• Coordinate services with social and medical agencies, ensuring patients receive comprehensive care across various sectors.

• Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to stay updated on mental health best practices and maintain your National Certified Counselor certification.

• Contribute to a team culture that prioritizes high-quality patient evaluation and treatment, aiming to address gaps in care for trauma-involved patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will primarily be on patients who have experienced traumatic injuries, which can include a range of psychological issues such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression. You will work closely with patients at different stages of their therapeutic journeys, providing them with the necessary tools and support they need to navigate their challenges and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.
\n
• A minimum of three years’ experience treating trauma patients, demonstrating expertise in trauma-informed care.

• Strong technological skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, with familiarity in Salesforce and EMR systems being advantageous.

• Exceptional communication skills to effectively connect with patients as well as coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly focused on trauma-informed care.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored for trauma recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
