Finance Associate

Summary

Whitecap Search is partnering with our client who is seeking a skilled professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, producing reports, and analyzing data to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Job Function:

• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Produce recurring and ad hoc reports for FinOp and firm leadership, highlighting trends, variances, and key business drivers.
• Analyze financial, operational, and business data to generate insights and support decision-making.
• Build and standardize reporting frameworks, dashboards, and analytics tools.
• Partner with colleagues across FinOp to address business questions and contribute to capability-building initiatives.

Requirements:

• At least two years of experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or another relevant field, along with a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline.
• Technical proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis; familiarity with coding or automation tools is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated initiative and eagerness to learn new concepts and tools in a dynamic environment.
• Experience managing sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
