The TL;DR Role: Early Career Type: Contract, Part-time Mission: This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate execution of daily accounting functions, including the critical tasks of accounts payable and receivable processing, bank reconciliations, and invoicing, thereby contributing to the overall financial health and administrative support for client operations. Tech Stack: Excel, accounting software What You’ll Actually Do Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable: Process incoming bills and outgoing invoices to ensure timely payments and collections. Conduct Data Entry and Recordkeeping: Accurately input financial data and maintain organized records for all transactions. Perform Bank Reconciliations and Invoicing: Reconcile bank statements with company records and generate invoices for services rendered. Provide General Administrative Support: Offer administrative assistance to the accounting department as needed to maintain smooth operations. The Must-Haves Background: Entry-Level. Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices, preparing them to support daily financial operations effectively. Experience: While specific years are not mandated, preferred candidates will have prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
