Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories, performing specialized assessments, and documenting all findings accurately.
• Discuss evaluation results and proposed treatment plans with patients and their families, ensuring their engagement in goal-setting processes.
• Implement individualized treatment protocols based on each patient's assessment outcomes and current health status.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, adjust treatment plans when necessary, and document any changes in patient conditions.
• Coordinate discharge plans and follow-up care while maintaining detailed, timely documentation of patient interactions, which includes initial evaluations, ongoing treatment notes, and progress summaries.
• Manage time efficiently to meet productivity targets, demonstrate punctuality for meetings, and engage in community outreach to promote the center's services.
• Contribute to departmental goals and objectives while adhering to regulatory standards for care and documentation.
• Pursue ongoing education to enhance professional skills and offer supervision to students or interns as a clinical instructor.
• Ensure an excellent patient experience by adapting service approaches to meet individual needs and removing barriers to access.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise programming.
• Familiarity with WebPT electronic medical record (EMR) software.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with patients in a positive, supportive manner.
• Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient care outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
