Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your role will encompass a variety of essential tasks that directly contribute to patient outcomes, including:

• Conducting thorough evaluations, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical assessments, and documenting results to guide treatment planning.
• Communicating evaluation findings and proposed treatment plans clearly to patients and their families, actively involving them in setting goals for rehabilitation.
• Implementing customized treatment protocols based on assessment results and ongoing patient needs, adapting techniques in response to changes in their condition.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care, including consultations as needed.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously, including evaluations, plans of care, daily notes, and discharge summaries, all while adhering to regulatory standards.
• Managing your time effectively to meet productivity targets and maintain an organized schedule, ensuring timely attendance to meetings and other professional commitments.
• Participating in departmental initiatives to enhance patient access and satisfaction, addressing barriers to care as they arise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• A valid state license to practice in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Compensation and Benefits
