Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans focused on healing and functional recovery.
• Evaluate patients' physical abilities through diagnostic tests and assessments, identifying issues such as muscle weakness, pain, and loss of function.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, including manual exercises, traction, and modalities like massage, to alleviate symptoms and enhance mobility.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in delivering effective care as per state guidelines.
• Document clinical records comprehensively, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, while ensuring compliance with OASIS requirements.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team conferences and case reviews to coordinate comprehensive care for each patient.
• Maintain open communication with patients and families, instructing them on their therapy programs and encouraging adherence for optimal outcomes.
• Assess the home environment to provide recommendations that enhance the patient's rehabilitation and independence.
• Stay current on federal, state, and licensing regulations to ensure best practices within the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily includes individuals experiencing orthopedic injuries and recovery needs looking to regain full functional capacity. Patients range from those affected by post-surgical conditions to those with chronic pain or other mobility challenges. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist licensure in Florida and a valid CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits
