Pocono Ambulatory Surgery Center (PASC) is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join their team in East Stroudsburg, PA. The role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care in a supportive environment.
Practice Info
- Pocono Ambulatory Surgery Center (PASC) opened in 1986 as an Ophthalmic Surgery Center and became multi-specialty in 1990.
- PASC was an SPH Analytics winner for 2015-2016, 2016-2017, and 2018-2019 for demonstrating excellence in patient satisfaction.
- Case assignments include Ophthalmology, endo, ortho, plastics, and general.
- The team leadership includes David McIntyre, Chief Anesthesiologist.
- The care team model focuses on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Compensation
- Salary: $475K
- Sign on bonus: $50K

- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- ECFMG and FLEX
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
