Job Description

The Program Assistant provides administrative, logistical, programmatic support to an assigned program area.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, Bachelors preferred.

• 1-2 years of related administrative or program support experience.

Responsibilities

1. Provide administrative support to faculty and staff on a specific program(s).

2. Assist in the preparation of grant applications.

3. Prepare written descriptions and reports of Division activities for newsletter and website

4. Provide technical assistance to faculty and staff in the preparation and submission of IRB applications.

5. Assist in research compliance activities.

6. Provide administrative support for meetings, recruitment activities and training activities.

7. Assist in the preparation of reports to funding agencies.

8. Assist in the preparation and submission of abstracts, posters and manuscripts.

9. Maintain and revise division work schedules.

10. Maintain research credentialing database for faculty, fellows, residents, staff and students.

11. Prepare and process check requests, purchase orders, travel requests and travel reimbursement.

12. Perform other special projects or other duties as requested.

Compensation Statement

Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $28.64 - $36.9156 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
