Strategic Broker Engagement Leader

Overview The Strategic Broker Engagement Leader will drive business growth and profitability by building and maintaining relationships with key retail and wholesale brokers and shaping and executing the distribution strategy for QBE Insurance. Responsibilities Build and enhance awareness of QBE’s offerings and value propositions with brokers within assigned geography, focusing on office leaders and account executives. Manage a portfolio of national broker relationships. Serve as a primary point of contact for retail and wholesale brokers within the region, building trusted relationships that promote growth and retention. Act as a liaison to one or more underwriting product teams and the North American Distribution team. Facilitate regional pipelining discussions for global brokers and associated follow‑up activities, working closely with assigned underwriting leaders. Develop and grow databases of regional broker contacts and target accounts in coordination with the Distribution analytics team. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 10+ years of Commercial and Specialty Insurance experience. Deep relationships with brokers both in the geographical region and at the national level. Experience in relationship management and/or business development. Proficiency in using data and analytics to inform decision‑making and measure success. Ability to negotiate, persuade, and influence both directly and indirectly. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $237,500–$405,000 plus an annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
