Description:
The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality emergency medical services.
The unit operates 14 trucks during peak times and has a staff of 110.
Staff include various levels of service including Critical Care Transport, ALS, BLS, and wheelchair transport.
Patient-to-transport ratios are set at one patient per transport.
Equipment used includes Zoll cardiac monitors and Baxter & Alaris IV pumps.
The unit follows an electronic medical record system for documentation.
Successful candidates will demonstrate flexibility and friendliness.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's in EMS and National Registry.
Typical procedures performed in this role include medication administration.
Team members may also be assigned to behavioral health transports or wheelchair/baseline transports depending on staffing needs.
Uniforms will be provided.
Weekend shifts may be scheduled once a month.
This position is created to replace a contractor.
