Assembly Lead - Day Shift - Saturday to Monday (5:00am to 5:00pm)US Conec is seeking a proactive and bilingual Assembly Lead to oversee kit inspection and assembly operations on our weekend day shift team. In this role, you'll guide and support assembly operators, ensure compliance with standardized procedures, and drive quality, safety, and productivity across the department. You'll play a key role in training, troubleshooting, and team development—all while maintaining a high level of communication and organization in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities include adjusting operator kits as needed, walking the assembly floor to ensure compliance with SPI standards, tracking operator quality performance and overseeing rework procedures, identifying and resolving issues related to safety, quality, and production, conducting operator training sessions based on SPI documentation, providing daily guidance and direction to assigned department team members, monitoring incoming expedites and adjusting work assignments as needed, responding promptly to emails and maintaining clear communication with leadership and quality teams, reviewing SPI documents to ensure clarity and accuracy, communicating quality concerns to the Assembly Supervisor, Assembly Manager, and Quality Department, enforcing safety regulations and interpreting company policies for team members, recommending improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality, suggesting changes to working conditions and equipment usage to increase efficiency, participating in fixture testing and approval processes, training new leads and lead substitutes, preparing weekly timecards for payroll processing, supervising and editing time entries for direct reports in the Paylocity system.Must haves include bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, experience in a lead role within a manufacturing environment, strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, results-oriented mindset with adaptability to change, strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.What we offer includes competitive compensation with shift-based incentives, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans, paid time off and holidays to support work-life balance, 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match, a collaborative, team-based culture focused on growth and development, opportunities for leadership training and advancement, inclusive workplace with reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals.US Conec will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
