Sales Director – Confidential Client | Northeast Territory | $150K–$180K Base We're recruiting on behalf of our client, one of the fastest-growing specialty packaging distributors in North America, a PE-backed platform operating across a portfolio of 15 companies and scaling aggressively through acquisition. The Northeast is their next major growth frontier, and this role sits right at the center of it. This isn't a caretaker role. You're being brought in to build a territory, a team, and a legacy. With the backing of a senior leadership team that moves fast and the autonomy to make decisions from day one. The Opportunity Own the commercial performance of a large multi-state Northeast territory, leading a team of 5–10 sales reps. You'll drive new business acquisition and account expansion, instill CRM and pipeline discipline, and report directly into senior leadership on strategy and growth. As the business scales through acquisition, so will your team. What You'll Do Own full commercial performance across a large, multi-state Northeast territory Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of 5–10 sales reps Drive new business acquisition alongside account growth and expansion Build out and scale the team as the business grows through acquisition Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and pipeline visibility Partner directly with senior leadership on strategic growth initiatives What You Bring 8+ years of B2B sales experience, including several years leading teams of 5–10 A proven track record driving revenue growth across a large, multi-state territory Background in industrial packaging, specialty packaging, distribution, or adjacent B2B product distribution A lead-from-the-front mentality - setting the bar, coaching reps up, and holding the line on accountability Strong commercial acumen and comfort operating alongside senior leadership on strategy Willingness to travel ~30% across the territory Nice to Have An operations background - either route into sales leadership, or experience running ops and sales in tandem Experience within a PE-backed or acquisition-driven business Familiarity with Northeast packaging/distribution market dynamics A track record of building a sales team from the ground up Compensation: $150,000–$180,000 base + bonuses and full package benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr Hyrra
