School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Mount Airy, Maryland

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Maryland State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working with elementary age students in a school setting is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated skills in assessment, treatment planning, and delivering speech-language therapy
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with educational teams, parents, and students

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students' speech, language, voice, and fluency
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs
• Deliver direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings within elementary schools
• Document and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families, providing strategies that support student communication in the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
