Legal Intake Coordinator

Schaumburg, Illinois | Onsite | $45,000–$50,000 per year, based on experience Are you a strategic organizer, skilled at managing intricate schedules and multiple priorities at once? M&A Law Firm, P.C. is looking for a motivated, personable Intake Coordinator to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for prospective clients and plays a direct role in the firm's growth. What you'll do Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, with empathy, professionalism, and clear communication Listen actively, document legal issues, and follow up on leads by phone and email Send engagement letters and collect retainer payments Manage consultation scheduling and keep case files organized in our case management system Use Lawmatics to track client interactions Follow up on unpaid retainers Participate in team meetings and strategic planning Help refine processes that protect our client review ratings, even when a prospect doesn't convert What we're looking for Some college preferred Prior sales or customer service experience, law firm setting preferred Strong typing and general computer skills, comfortable with office software Excellent verbal and written communication Excellent attention to detail A people person who's genuinely empathetic when dealing with clients in delicate situations Legal industry familiarity is a plus, not required Compensation and benefits $45,000–$50,000 per year, based on experience Incentive structure tied to retainer agreements signed per month Health insurance, 401k with company match Onsite gym Room to grow within a small, expanding firm This is an onsite role at our Schaumburg location.
