What The Role Entails

CloudHQ is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Development Accounting Team. The ideal candidate will provide support for the Accounting team in the day-to-day operations and development of several large-scale data centers. The successful contender, will be detailed oriented and able to succeed in a fast-past environment.

What You Will Get To Do

• Preparation of journal entries
\n
• Reconciliation and review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary
\n
• Completion of monthly bank reconciliations
\n
• Monitoring of credit card charges, payment discrepancies, refunds, returns and other charges
\n
• Perform general ledger account variance analyses and reconciliations
\n
• Assist Senior Accountants in preparing month end close, monthly job cost reports and other required reports
\n
• Assist in financial statement preparation
\n
• Assist with year-end audit
\n
• Maintain accounting documents and records
\n
• Assist with other accounting projects as needed
\n

What You Bring to The Role

\n
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
\n
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a professional business environment
\n
• Detail oriented with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
\n
• Task oriented, results driven, and capable of multi-tasking
\n
• Experience meeting deadlines timely on a consistent basis
\n
• Self-motivated, unquestionable work
\n
• Demonstrated professional verbal and written communication skills
\n
• Ability to work overtime as required
\n
• Actively solicits feedback to ensure all responsibilities, activities and deliverables meet expectations
\n
• Ability and willingness to respond to emails and phone calls after hours in the event of an emergency
\n
• Expertise in Microsoft office suite applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook)
\n

Our Ideal Candidate Will Also Possess

\n
• Public accounting and/or real estate industry experience highly preferred
\n
• Experience with Yardi or equivalent software highly preferred
\n
• Real Estate experience preferred
\n
• CPA
\n
