Accounts Payable Clerk
LHH is partnering with a fast-growing real estate company in East County San Diego to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, evolving accounting team and gain hands-on experience in a high-volume, process-driven environment.

Position Overview
This role is responsible for supporting the accounting team by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, maintaining clean financial data, and assisting with administrative and operational tasks.
You'll play a key role in keeping day-to-day accounting functions running smoothly, while gaining valuable exposure to systems, processes, and real estate accounting workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy in coding, entry, and approvals
- Manage and maintain the accounts payable workflow, including timely processing and tracking of payments
- Perform detailed data entry across accounting systems and supporting platforms
- Respond to vendor inquiries and follow up on outstanding items in a timely, professional manner
- Support the accounting team with administrative and operational tasks that improve overall efficiency
- Assist with clean-up projects, reporting support, and process improvements as needed
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or administrative/accounting support
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume work
- Comfortable working with accounting systems and spreadsheets
- Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with AP automation tools or property management software is a plus
