Studio Scheduling Coordinator

Imagine being the Stage Manager for a production that performs six days a week—and never closes. Every day, students, parents, teachers, and schedules are constantly changing. Your job is to make sure the right people are in the right place at the right time so the music can happen. What You’ll Be Doing The Studio Scheduling Coordinator is the hub of our studio. You’ll help welcome new students, coordinate lesson schedules, work with teachers and families to solve scheduling challenges, and keep the studio running smoothly behind the scenes. Every day is a little different. One moment you may be helping a new family find the perfect lesson time. The next, you’ll be rearranging a schedule to accommodate a sick child, a school concert, or a teacher’s vacation. Your job isn’t simply to maintain a calendar. Your job is to help people continue making music—even when life gets complicated. What Success Looks Like At the end of a successful week: Students attended lessons they might otherwise have missed. Teachers enjoyed productive, well-organized teaching days. Families felt informed and supported. Scheduling problems were solved before they became emergencies. The studio felt calm, welcoming, and organized. Most people won’t see the work that made those things possible. You’ll know. And so will the teachers, students, and families whose musical journeys continued because someone cared enough to help everything fit together. We’re always looking for better ways to serve our students and families. Because our sister company, Super 9 Studios, develops websites and provides technology solutions for clients, we regularly adopt new software, automation, and AI tools that help us work more efficiently. You don’t need to know all of these tools before you start. We enjoy teaching them. What matters is your attitude. About the Position Approximately 8–10 hours per week Typically 2 hours per day, 4–5 days each week In-person at our Madison studio Primarily weekday afternoons Training provided Potential to grow into additional hours and operational responsibilities as the person becomes established in the role and additional needs arise. Additional hours are not guaranteed. Pay & Growth Starting pay is $25 per hour. After one year, the hourly rate may increase to as much as $30, based on performance, reliability, and growth in responsibilities. Depending on the person’s skills and interests, separate, additional work with our sister company, Super 9 Studios, may become available over time.
