Senior Accountant Rhythm Outdoors Overview Senior Accountant will own the daily and monthly transactional heartbeat of the Rhythm network, handling journal entries across six entities, payroll processing, onboarding administration, month‑end support, credit‑card reconciliation, and limited office administration. Ledger The Journal: Post accurate and timely journal entries across six entities The Reconciler: Own credit‑card, bank, and balance‑sheet reconciliations each month The Month‑End Engine: Drive recurring close checklist with CFO, accrual support, schedules, and timely close 2. Payroll & Onboarding The Payroll Runner: Process payroll accurately and on schedule The Onboarding Admin: Administer I‑9, W‑4, direct deposit setup, benefits paperwork; keep personnel records complete and confidential The Recordkeeper: Maintain employee and vendor records in an organized, documented, retrievable format 3. Payables & Documentation The AP Desk: Process vendor bills and payments on disciplined cadence, keep vendor files and approvals clean The Receipt Wrangler: Chase down documentation, support expense reports and card receipts 4. The Right Hand The CFO’s Partner: Handle ad‑hoc analysis, special projects, and support tasks that keep the machine running The Office Hand: Manage bounded office administration workload (≈10% of the week) Person, Not Just the Resume Looking for an individual who feels genuine satisfaction when reconciliations tie on the first pass across six entities, works consistently, and takes pride in precise, detail‑oriented work.
