• Deliver individualized speech therapy to enhance communication abilities—covering language, fluency, voice, and swallowing techniques.
• Partner with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to establish a holistic care approach.
• Provide guidance and education for patients and families to support independent progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Assist with select inpatient speech therapy assessments and treatments to guarantee seamless continuity of care.
• Ensure precise and prompt documentation compliant with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Remain current with advancements in speech therapy through ongoing education and collaborative relationships with peers.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Preferred Certifications

• State license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) by ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
