Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services for approximately 25 students in a dynamic and supportive school environment near Detroit, MI. This is a contract opportunity focused on fostering communication skills and helping children reach important developmental milestones.

Essential Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted SLP license in Michigan
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Experience working within school settings, preferably in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classrooms
• Strong understanding of evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies for elementary-age students
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams, families, and other therapy professionals

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, evaluate, and diagnose speech and language disorders in an elementary ASD caseload
• Create individualized speech therapy treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language pathology services onsite
• Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a holistic approach
• Serve as an advocate for students’ communication needs within the school setting
