Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Vertex Behavioral Healthcare, you will:

• Offer counseling and crisis intervention for clients, conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific emotional and behavioral needs.

• Consult and collaborate with clients’ families and support systems to foster a holistic approach to treatment that encompasses all aspects of the client’s life.

• Maintain effective communication with medical professionals, providing updates on client progress, addressing concerns, and coordinating comprehensive care strategies.

• Document clinical interactions meticulously, ensuring that all records, including progress notes and treatment plans, meet organizational standards and compliance requirements.

• Engage actively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to create and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing psychosocial assessments and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of three years of professional counseling experience in a mental health setting.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations.
