Business Operations Specialist (Remote)

Job Title

Specialist supports business initiatives, operational priorities, and special projects within the Small Business Unit (SBU). This role provides coordination, communications, reporting, and administrative support to help drive execution of key business objectives while gaining exposure to business operations and leadership initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support business initiatives and special projects through coordination, organization, follow-up, and documentation.
• Assist with preparation of presentations, reports, communications and meeting materials.
• Partner on maintaining project trackers, business resources, operational documentation, and reporting tools.
• Support process improvement, technology, automation, AI, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Assist with development and maintenance of business tools utilizing Microsoft 365 applications including SharePoint, Lists, Forms, Power Automate, and related technologies.
• Partner with internal teams and business leaders to support execution of organizational priorities.

Qualifications

Required: Experience in employee benefits, account management, client service, operations, or administrative support. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.

Preferred: Experience supporting projects, reporting, business operations, or process improvement initiatives. Experience creating presentations, communications, and business documentation. Interest in technology, automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and operational efficiency. Experience with Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint, Lists, Forms, Power Automate, or similar platforms.

The base salary range for this position is $58,600 – $93,800. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
