Litigation Paralegal

Catastrophic Personal Injury Paralegal or Litigation Paralegal (3–7 Years Experience)

A regional law firm is seeking an experienced Catastrophic Personal Injury Paralegal to support a senior partner in a busy plaintiff-side litigation practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-exposure personal injury matters involving significant injuries, medical treatment, and extensive damages

Responsibilities

• Provide direct litigation support to one senior partner handling catastrophic personal injury cases
• Manage cases from intake through trial, including maintaining case files and tracking deadlines
• Obtain, organize, review, and analyze medical records, billing records, and other case-related documentation
• Prepare detailed medical summaries and treatment chronologies for use in litigation, settlement negotiations, mediations, and trial preparation
• Coordinate with clients, healthcare providers, expert witnesses, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Assist with deposition preparation, expert disclosures, mediation submissions, and trial exhibits
• Maintain litigation calendars and monitor court deadlines
• Conduct factual investigations and assist with damages analysis

. Qualification

• 3–7 years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience, with significant exposure to catastrophic injury matters
• Strong experience preparing medical summaries, medical chronologies, and analyzing complex medical records
• Thorough understanding of the litigation process from case inception through trial
• Experience managing high-volume case files and multiple deadlines
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
• Paralegal certificate preferred but not required

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid schedule requiring four days per week in the office
• Direct support to one senior partner in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
