Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify the mental health needs and challenges of your clients. Design and implement tailored treatment plans that suit individual goals and promote effective coping strategies. Deliver individual therapy to adult clients using evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused therapy. Utilize teletherapy platforms to provide virtual counseling sessions, ensuring accessible mental health support. Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, employing immediate strategies to ensure client safety and stabilization. Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with industry standards and innovations in mental health therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus Your client base will primarily consist of adults experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, understanding their unique experiences, and adapting your therapeutic approaches accordingly to ensure the most effective support. Qualifications Must hold a valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for establishing rapport and trust with clients. Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients from various backgrounds. Organizational and time-management skills to maintain efficient appointment scheduling and documentation. No history of disciplinary actions on professional license. Preferred Experience Experience working with teletherapy platforms and virtual counseling settings. Prior experience in community health settings is highly valued. Knowledge of best practices regarding crisis intervention and management. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary range of $90,000 to $104,000 based on your caseload and experience.
