With a focus on energy efficiency, UDC's team is contributing to making a better, more sustainable planet.Job Summary:UDC's Corporate Counsel will report to UDC's VP, Deputy General Counsel and serve as a trusted advisor to the business, providing practical, timely and strategic advice across a range of corporate, commercial and compliance matters. This generalist role will partner closely with internal stakeholders to support day-to-day operations, manage legal risks, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The position requires strong judgment, business acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume corporate environment, supporting both U.S.-based and international clients and operations.In this hands-on role, the candidate must have a strong work-ethic and be a self-starter who can work both independently and as a part of a highly collaborative international team. The candidate must possess strong legal drafting and negotiating skills. The individual must be client-service focused and be able to prioritize and execute on numerous projects simultaneously. The ability to balance superior attention to detail while maintaining an awareness of the big picture are a must.Key Responsibilities:Support a broad range of corporate legal matters, including public company reporting and compliance, corporate governance and board support, strategic investments, and transactional activitiesNegotiate, draft, review and advise on commercial agreements and related documentationAssist in the development, implementation and oversight of Company policies, compliance programs and training to promote compliance and mitigate riskAdvise on data privacy and enterprise risk management issuesPerform other duties and special projects as may be assignedRequired Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolMinimum of 3 years of experience practicing corporate law, in a law firm or in-house legal department.Experience in a complex and regulated environment is preferred.Current New Jersey bar admission in good standing, or in good standing in another U.S. jurisdiction with ability and interest in becoming licensed in New Jersey.Technologically savvy and possesses a willingness to use technology to continually create efficiencies in legal-related processes.Ability to travel on a limited basis, when and if needed.International/global experience a plus.Current Benefits at UDC:Competitive base salary and annual bonus programMedical/Prescription Drug coverage, Dental, and Vision for employees and familyOption of Health and Dependent Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)Option of Health Savings Account (HSA)Group Term Life insurance, short term disability, and long-term disability benefits for employeesEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)401(k) company contributionEwing Worldwide Headquarters (HQ) cafeteria provides breakfast and lunch to employees at no cost to themAnnual charitable matching giftGenerous Paid Time OffAnnual compensation range: $140k-165kAt Universal Display Corporation, base pay is one part of our total compensation package.
