Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, identifying impairments and functional limitations to establish tailored treatment plans based on physician recommendations.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities and exercises while adapting approaches as necessary to improve patient outcomes.

• Document patient evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and in a timely manner, employing clinical terminology that supports skilled care.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to optimize patient care and ensure a unified approach to treatment.

• Supervise the performance and progression of Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and support staff to ensure quality patient care and effective treatment delivery.

• Monitor the efficacy of therapeutic interventions, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback.

• Provide constructive feedback to management regarding operational improvements and contribute to a positive workplace culture focused on professional development.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits
