Work Environment\n

This position will be entirely remote, offering flexible integration into our established community health clinic environment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists and psychoeducators, in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere. Our commitment to promoting work-life balance ensures that while you will have structured hours, specifically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some scheduling flexibility may be necessary to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and devise tailored treatment plans focused on recovery.

• Implement individualized therapeutic interventions—drawing on modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)—to guide patients through their healing process.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing an empathetic space for patients to process their experiences, build effective coping strategies, and enhance their overall resilience.

• Work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, including attending case consultations and team meetings.

• Provide crisis intervention support during heightened trauma-related incidents, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor to ensure patient safety and emotional stability.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, empowering them with knowledge and coping techniques.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient management.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Licensure: The candidate must hold a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Georgia.

• Experience: A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in clinical practice, focusing on trauma-related disorders is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
