Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our practice with a focus on functional medicine, perioperative medical optimization in orthopedic patients, and personalized physiology-driven care. This role emphasizes proactive, root-cause medicine aimed at improving recovery, performance, hormonal balance, metabolic health, and overall patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive functional medicine evaluations, including advanced laboratory interpretation and lifestyle assessment Optimize patients medically before and after orthopedic procedures to improve healing, reduce complications, and enhance recovery Develop personalized treatment plans focused on hormone optimization, metabolic health, inflammation control, and physiologic resilience Manage therapies including hormone replacement, peptide-based protocols (where appropriate), nutritional strategies, and performance optimization Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and ancillary providers Monitor outcomes using data-driven protocols and adjust treatment plans accordingly Educate patients on lifestyle, nutrition, sleep, stress, and performance factors that influence recovery and long-term health Qualifications Board-certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or similar) Strong interest or experience in functional medicine, hormone optimization, and integrative physiology Experience with perioperative management preferred, particularly in orthopedic populations Comfortable interpreting advanced labs and managing hormone therapy Collaborative, patient-centered mindset with strong communication skills Ideal Candidate Profile A forward-thinking clinician who values performance medicine, personalized care, and measurable outcomes.
