Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to identify client needs, developing tailored therapy plans that reflect their unique situations.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions for clients, ensuring that each session aligns with their personal objectives.

• Maintain thorough and accurate client records while adhering to confidentiality standards, using our secure electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Actively participate in clinical supervision and peer consultation meetings to foster growth, share best practices, and refine therapeutic approaches.

• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and others, effectively addressing the complexities of family dynamics.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist at Freedom House, you will work closely with clients of different backgrounds, tailoring your approach to suit each individual’s cultural and personal preferences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland.
