This position is primarily remote, enabling you to manage your work-life balance effectively while delivering essential services to our clients. Although most sessions will occur online, occasional in-person meetings at our outpatient office in Chevy Chase may be required for team coordination or client engagement events. We utilize telehealth technology to ensure accessibility and maintain client confidentiality throughout the therapeutic process.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gain a deep understanding of clients’ backgrounds, experiences, and therapeutic needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients range from individuals grappling with personal struggles to couples facing relational challenges, and families navigating complex dynamics. As an LMFT, you will engage with a diverse clientele experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and life transitions. Your role will not only address their immediate concerns but also support long-term personal development and relational health.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Current and active LMFT licensure in the state of Maryland.

• Demonstrated success in providing therapeutic interventions within clinical settings for a minimum of 2 years.

• Solid understanding and utilization of evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage clients and collaborate with colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, additional certifications or training in specialized therapeutic techniques, such as trauma-informed care or EMDR, would be an asset. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is also beneficial to ease documentation and client tracking processes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
