Desired Qualifications and Experience: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred School-based experience highly valued; strong clinical backgrounds considered Skilled in screening, evaluating, and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders Team-oriented mindset, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language skills Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and classroom integration Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student growth Provide direct therapy as well as consultative services within the educational setting Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing professional development You’ll find this contract role perfect if you’re passionate about fostering growth, enjoy working in diverse educational settings, and are motivated by helping students find their voices—both literally and figuratively.
