Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families. Your daily activities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients’ mental health, family dynamics, and relational issues.

• Developing personalized treatment plans based on clinical standards and individual goals.
\n
• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples to explore interpersonal conflicts and enhance communication.

• Providing individual therapy to family members, focusing on personal growth and healing from trauma or grief.
\n
• Specializing in addressing various goals such as alcohol abuse, physical and psychological abuse, grief and loss, conflicts among family members, job stress, and blended family dynamics.

• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the holistic care provided to all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve engaging with diverse adult clients and child/adolescent populations. You will address complex family dynamics, helping clients navigate challenges such as separation and divorce, job stress, and interpersonal conflicts within the family unit. The focus will be on enriching lives and fostering resilience through therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Current and valid licensing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland.
