Cardiology physician job in New York :

An integrated health system is seeking a Heart Failure Cardiologist to join its cardiac care team on Long Island, New York. This role focuses on advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support across a network of hospitals and affiliated care sites.

About the Opportunity:

  • Shift: Day shift
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Hours: Standard business
  • Setting: In-person

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology needs
  • Manage a broad spectrum of heart failure cases across hospital and affiliated settings
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and LVAD coordinators on patient care plans
  • Support the use of mechanical circulatory support and advanced cardiac therapies
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary heart failure program serving the surrounding region

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with ECMO
  • Experience with short-term mechanical support strategies
  • Experience with CardioMEMS
  • Experience with pulmonary hypertension care
Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
