Strategic Sales Specialist

Sales Support Specialist Kimball Midwest is a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products. This position provides day-to-day support for Key Account Executives by helping manage workflow, data, reporting, and customer-related activities tied to high-value accounts. The Sales Specialist works closely with sales, operations, and internal teams to ensure accuracy, responsiveness, and forward momentum across key accounts in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Serve as the primary day-to-day support partner to Key Account Executives, managing a high volume of inbound requests and priorities. Coordinate across internal teams to support key accounts, including pricing updates, account changes, reporting requests, and other sales‑support activities. Manage and maintain accurate CRM data, dashboards, and reporting to support sales execution and visibility. Support onboarding and ongoing enablement of Key Account Executives by assisting with tools, processes, and required documentation. Execute a high volume of ad hoc and time‑sensitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Proactively identify issues, take ownership of tasks, and move work forward without requiring constant direction. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered. 2-3 years of experience supporting sales teams, operations, leadership, or other fast‑paced internal customer groups. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities in a high‑volume environment. Experience working with CRM systems, reporting tools, and business systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft tools, including Excel and Outlook; familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with internal stakeholders at various levels. Self‑directed, proactive working style with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
