Batch Plant Operator

What You’ll Be Doing Operate and monitor asphalt plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient production Perform routine inspections, basic troubleshooting, and adjustments on plant systems Coordinate material flow to meet production demands and quality specifications Complete daily operational logs and communicate issues promptly Support safe work practices, housekeeping, and team collaboration across the site What Are We Looking For Ability to operate and learn plant systems, controls, and related equipment Strong awareness of safety practices in industrial or manufacturing settings Capability to perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and equipment checks Dependability in following procedures, documentation, and production standards Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment Ability to work nights/ weekends as needed Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level What We Offer $27 - $32 per hour plus shift differential Benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision and Retirement Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr Heidelberg Materials
