This role is ideal for a dedicated HHA who values flexibility, with a schedule listed below: Schedule Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM or 8a-8pm 12-hour shifts On-call opportunities available with an additional stipend of $50-$100 per shift Responsibilities Provide companion care and personal care assistance Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Support sit-to-stand transfers and mobility needs Accompany and transport client to lunch as needed Ensure client safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the shift Client Needs Parkinson's disease care Personal care assistance Mobility support and supervision Qualifications Previous caregiving or HHA experience required Experience caring for clients with Parkinson's disease preferred Reliable transportation Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor Benefits at BrightStar Care At BrightStar Care , we believe our employees deserve the same level of care and respect as our clients. Job Responsibilities Provide client-facing care as assigned Provide assistance with daily tasks as directed in the client's personalized plan of care, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping Provide companionship, personal and hygiene care as directed in the client's personalized plan of care, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, and assisting with measurements, if necessary Adhere to the policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency of employment Adhere to HIPAA laws and ensure confidentiality and security of the client's medical information Job Requirements High school diploma or GED Minimum one (1) year of documented home care assistance and/or direct care experience at an assisted living or skilled nursing facility, etc., is preferred Preferred: Successful completion of a nursing assistant or certified home health aide program Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance (proof of insurance is required) Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
