This role works uniquely with corporate leadership in identifying opportunities for long term growth, and immediate opportunity. The goal of the Business Development Manager is to help stabilize business operations through a steady opportunity and connection to projects. Do it Right.Hustle MattersGenuine CareStronger TogetherBenefits Offered:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceShort term and long term disabilityLife Insurance and Accidental Death and DismembermentFlexible Spending Account-Child Care, Limited, and MedicalAccident InsuranceCritical Illness InsurancePaid Time Off and Holiday Pay401(k) with matchSchedule:Monday to Friday, 8:00AM – 4:30PMWage:$80k annually and up, plus a commission base bonus structureResponsibilities:Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial construction sector.Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.Track and manage leads, prospects, and opportunities through a CRM system.Lead client outreach efforts including meetings, presentations, and networking events.Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to develop competitive proposals and presentations.Participate in preconstruction planning and strategy discussions.Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming project opportunities.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and association meetings.Support brand awareness and marketing initiatives, including content and campaign input.Maintain a pipeline sufficient to meet or exceed annual revenue targets.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in Construction, Architectural Firm, and/or Real Estate Development, bringing projects from idea to execution and construction.Strong understanding of construction delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, CMAR, etc.)Proven track record of generating leads and closing dealsEstablished network within the commercial construction industry preferredExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsAbility to read and understand construction plans and specificationsProficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge, Skill and Abilities:Strong communication skills, both formal and informal, to conduct yourself in a professional manner with the ability to understand your audience and venue.Desire for continued growth and development.Relationship building and client management.Strategic thinking and market awareness.Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.Ability to collaborate across departments.An Equal Opportunity Employer We consider applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, the presence of a non-job related medical condition or handicap, or any other legally protected status.
