Accountant

This position is a critical hands-on role within the Accounting Department. This role is responsible for issuing credits for customer returns. The role is also critical to ensure the accuracy of the monthly inventory counts.General support of other accounting functions.Cross-train and support other accounting areas as required.Key Responsibilities:Accounts Receivable - CreditsOversee a high-volume of customer credits, including cores, defects, new returnsInvestigate paperwork discrepancies to ensure credits issued are accurate.Log disputes with customers / portals for incorrect credits taken by customer and follow up for repayment.Maintain open communication with customers and address any issues as they arise.Collaborate with other departments, including customer service and sales, to ensure accurate credits and timely payments.Support team and back up as needed.Inventory:Run Axapta reports for month-end counts.Key in results from count sheets and advise on variances / areas to be recounted.Summarize inventory counts and work with Salem on overall count results.Requirements:Automotive or manufacturing background highly desired.1-3 years of experience in general accounts receivableDetail oriented and organized.Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills.Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently.Supports organization and department goals and values. #J-18808-Ljbffr Priority Dispatch Corp.
