Anticipated Schedule This is a full-time position with the following available schedules: Some holidays required Compensation $25-28/hour, commensurate with experience and licensure As a Veterinary Assistant - Urgent Care , you’ll play a key role in ensuring our urgent care department runs smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you will: Safely handle and restrain patients Assist with radiographs, lab sample collection, and basic lab work (PCV/TP, smears, urinalysis) Monitor and record patient vitals, alerting the medical team to any abnormalities Support technicians and veterinarians in patient monitoring, anesthetic induction and recovery Keep treatment areas as well as equipment clean and organized Provide excellent communication with clients and contribute to a collaborative team culture Who We’re Looking For Experience as a veterinary assistant Prior experience or interest in urgent care Excellent verbal and written communication skills A team-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using veterinary software systems A compassionate, proactive, and collaborative approach to veterinary care If you're ready to take the next step in your veterinary career and be part of our urgent care team, we’d love to hear from you.
