Discover a rewarding contract opportunity supporting high school students as a Special Education Teacher in a welcoming environment near Livonia, MI. This position offers dedicated professionals the chance to work in a resource room setting, using their skills to empower students academically, socially, and emotionally. Two roles are available: a full-time, 40-hour position managing a caseload of approximately 14–20 high school students (either 9th grade or 10th–12th grade), and a part-time, 20-hour option supporting about 10 students with flexible AM or PM scheduling, Monday through Friday. Both roles are set to begin on September 8, 2026, in Dearborn, MI.

Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in Special Education is highly desirable
• Michigan Special Education Certification preferred
• Open to candidates with a Substitute Special Education Certification

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver academic instruction and tailored support in a resource room setting
• Offer social-emotional guidance and interventions to meet diverse student needs
• Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans
• Develop effective strategies to foster academic growth and positive behaviors
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to help students thrive
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with IEPs
