About the Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to work on the construction and evolution of the data pipelines and architectures that support products, analytics, and data-driven decisions at Jusbrasil. This person will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and systems (ingestion, processing, and storage), ensuring scalability, governance, and performance. The focus is to transform raw data into reliable, consistent, and high-value analytical assets throughout the data lifecycle.

You will work side by side with Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, Data Analysts, and Product teams, helping to transform raw data into consistent and high-value analytical assets for the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain large-scale data ingestion and transformation pipelines (batch and streaming).
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and integrity throughout the lifecycle (testing, versioning, monitoring).
• Implement and evolve data architecture in GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Composer).
• Collaborate with Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams to define data needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in the evolution of data engineering best practices and internal standardization of models, nomenclatures, and monitoring.

Mandatory Skills

• Experience in using AI tools in the data development cycle, applying good engineering practices to accelerate development and scalability.
• Solid experience with Python and SQL (preferably also Java or Scala).
• Experience with Airflow, Airbyte, or equivalent orchestration and replication frameworks.
• Knowledge of data modeling and good design practices (Kimball, Data Vault, Medallion).
• Experience in GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Composer, IAM).
• Familiarity with streaming (Kafka, Dataflow, or Beam) is a plus.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Product-oriented mindset and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Experience using AI tools for troubleshooting, operational automation, incident analysis, and accelerating engineering tasks with good reliability and observability practices.

• Experience with data observability (monitoring of DAGs, alerts, data quality)
• Participation in standardization, governance, and technical documentation initiatives
• Solid experience in Apache Flink
• Experience with analytical table catalogs and formats
