Travel Specialist We need a dedicated Travel Specialist to support federal staff with all aspects of travel management, including booking, vouchers, compliance with federal travel regulations, and travel reimbursement. The role partners with advanced research and development teams to ensure efficient, compliant travel processes for high‑impact health solutions. Responsibilities Provide guidance and education to stakeholders on federal travel policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance. Assist federal staff with booking travel and arranging travel arrangements. Support the use of the agency’s travel management systems and help stakeholders navigate those systems. Assist in completing and processing vouchers, ensuring all required information and documentation is present. Identify and resolve travel‑related issues, errors, discrepancies, or policy violations, working with stakeholders to correct them. Ensure travel expenses are reimbursed to stakeholders in a timely manner. Stay informed on new federal travel policies and communicate any changes to stakeholders. Qualifications 3+ years of experience facilitating federal travel. Experience with Concur Government Edition or GO.gov federal travel management systems. Experience providing administrative leadership support. Experience coordinating travel bookings, vouchers, and expense reimbursement for U.S. government staff. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Nice to Have Experience supporting HHS travel. Experience operating in an R&D environment. Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams. Excellent organizational, detail‑oriented, and multitasking skills to meet deadlines. Compensation and Benefits Salary is based on various factors and ranges from $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD).
