A confidential, established plaintiff-side personal injury practice is seeking a litigation attorney to manage cases from filing through verdict in Massachusetts state and federal courts. This is a hands-on role for a trial-ready attorney who values end-to-end file ownership, frequent client interaction, and the resources to move cases efficiently through discovery, mediation, and trial.

THE ROLE

- Manage all aspects of personal injury litigation from intake and filing through resolution

- Meet with clients and initiate lawsuits

- Draft and respond to written discovery

- Schedule, prepare for, and take fact witness depositions

- Retain appropriate experts and handle expert discovery, including expert depositions

- Prepare for and attend court appearances, hearings, and motion practice

- Prepare for and attend mediations and settlement negotiations

- Prepare cases for trial and try cases to verdict

- Prepare and file post-trial motions as needed

- Participate in file audits, litigation meetings, and trial-focused training sessions

LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

Location:

Massachusetts (Boston area)

Schedule:

Primarily in-office, typically 4 days per week, with limited remote days available annually (36 days per year)

Compensation:

Up to $250,000 total compensation, commensurate with experience; bonus eligible

REQUIREMENTS

- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

- Active Massachusetts bar license in good standing

- Plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience, including bodily injury matters

- Proven trial track record, including at least 2 jury trials as first chair

- Ability to manage a large, active caseload from filing through verdict

- Strong leadership skills and comfort directing a team of support staff

- Excellent written and verbal communication, including negotiation skills

- Strong analytical and legal research capabilities with confident courtroom presence

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

- 5+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience
