A confidential, established Massachusetts law firm with a full-service litigation practice is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney to support a busy employment litigation docket. This is a strong opportunity for an attorney who enjoys hands-on responsibility, values high-quality writing and advocacy, and wants a role with meaningful client exposure and long-term growth potential .

THE ROLE
- Manage labor and employment litigation matters from early case assessment through resolution
- Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and other court filings
- Handle discovery, including written discovery, document review, and deposition preparation
- Support and participate in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
- Communicate directly with clients and provide practical, timely case updates
- Maintain ownership of deadlines, task management, and matter organization
LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

Massachusetts (Greater Boston)
Schedule:
Hybrid, in office 3 days per week (initially on site during onboarding)
Compensation:
Base salary range: $100,000 to $120,000
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of labor and employment experience, with litigation experience strongly preferred
- Active Massachusetts bar admission in good standing
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage cases and deadlines with a high level of independence and professionalism
PREFERRED BACKGROUND
- Experience involving labor agencies and collective bargaining
- Demonstrated reliability, organization, and proactive client service
- Prior experience leading matters or taking ownership of key case components
