Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients recovering from injury, surgery, or chronic ailments within their home environments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based methods, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Continuously track and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to align with their evolving needs and goals.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques, self-care strategies, and the proper use of assistive devices to promote independence and recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and caregivers, to ensure cohesive patient care and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy practices through workshops, seminars, and professional associations.
• Maintain the highest standards of professional integrity and ethical practice while delivering care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapy services cater to a diverse range of patients, from pediatric to geriatric, who are dealing with a multitude of conditions. These may include sports injuries, orthopedic issues, neurological disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Working closely with patients in their home settings allows therapists to gain insight into their daily challenges and tailor treatment approaches for maximum benefit.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the State of Florida.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively work with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Proficiency in computer skills and experience with electronic medical records systems.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt and respond to varying clinical scenarios with flexibility and agility.
