Work Environment

This role is located in our outpatient clinic in Lake Worth, Florida, where our team collaborates closely to ensure that each patient receives comprehensive and individualized attention. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured schedule that allows clinicians to engage meaningfully with their patients without the pressures of a rushed appointment system.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to identify issues and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide focused, one-on-one therapy sessions, averaging 1-2 patients per hour, to ensure dedicated attention to each patient's recovery goals.
• Implement various treatment interventions including manual therapy techniques, progressive exercise regimens, and specialized equipment-based interventions.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress towards recovery milestones, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in line with organizational policies and insurance requirements.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to promote a holistic approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

• A minimum of two years of experience working in an outpatient clinical setting, specifically in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to make high-quality decisions in patient care.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts in a relatable manner to patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a home care setting or knowledge of home-based rehabilitation practices.
• Familiarity with various physical therapy modalities and techniques, completing continuous education and training to remain current with advances in the field.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
