About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Development and Constituent Engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategic planning and execution of all development and engagement activities. This includes overseeing the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of major gifts, as well as the management of donor relations and stewardship. The role also involves working closely with the Board of Trustees, alumni, and other key stakeholders to foster a culture of philanthropy and engagement. Applicants for the Vice President of Development and Constituent Engagement position at the company should have a proven track record in fundraising and a deep understanding of the principles of donor-centered philanthropy. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in development, with a focus on major gifts and campaign management. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of constituents. A strategic and innovative approach to development and a passion for the mission of the organization are also key attributes.
