QC Analytical Chemist - Night Shift
$24.25 - $31.25 per hourEurofins
Eurofins PSS seeks a QC Analytical Chemist for night-shift pharmaceutical testing in Albany, NY. The role involves GMP-compliant testing of pharmaceutical samples, analytical instrumentation operation, and support for method transfers and investigations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pharmaceutical sample testing and analysis per approved GMP methods and compendial requirements
- Execute testing on in-process materials, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples
- Participate in method transfer, qualification, and verification activities
- Support investigations of out-of-specification, out-of-trend, and invalid results
- Manage reference standards and perform elemental impurities and residual solvent analysis
Requirements
- BS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with 1+ year GMP/GLP testing experience; or MS with 6+ months experience
- 1+ year industry experience with Liquid Chromatography, Conductivity, and Titration
- Proficiency with at least two of: NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, or TGA
- Strong knowledge of GMP, ICH, and 21 CFR Part 210/211 regulations
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
Compensation: $24.25-$31.25 per hour based on education and experience
