You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the PAE Undersea In-Service and Industrial Base Directorate, TSUBL, Logistics Division of PEO SSBN.

Duties

Help

• You will lead and supervise the planning, coordination, and/or evaluation of the product support actions required to support a specified mission, weapons system, or other designated program.
• You will manage the package of support functions required to field and maintain the readiness and operational capability of major weapon systems, subsystems, and components.
• You will utilize predictive analysis and modeling tools to define and/or improve product support.
• You will develop product support strategies integrating the separate functions of design to cost, Product Support analyses, maintenance planning, provisioning, sustainment, modernization, and readiness to meet operational availability thresholds.
• You will perform and oversee training analyses to include requirements assessments for new/modified systems and the analysis and development of new/modified training devices.
• You will develop updates to manning documentation and plans.
• You will establish work assignment s in office, set priorities, prepare schedules for work completion, assign project due dates, and ensure the timely performance of satisfactory work efforts.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Functional Area and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established timeframes.
• This position is a designated Key Leadership Position (KLP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Coordinating or managing logistical resources for submarine systems and components.

This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-4 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
