The attorney will work closely with our practice group on all facets of estate planning, business succession planning, and the administration of estates and trusts. Some of the key responsibilities are listed below:Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate and succession plan documents.Incorporate estate tax planning strategies including irrevocable and revocable trusts, wills, Spousal Lifetime Access Trusts (SLATs) and Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts (GRATs).Provide analysis and counsel to clients on legal and tax issues relating to estate planning and administration.Perform thorough legal research, identifying necessary information to navigate and guard against legal risks facing the client.Provide support for disputes involving fiduciary responsibility, estates and trusts, and other family matters.Prepare inheritance tax returns as well as federal estate and gift tax returns. Please note that we champion the development of all roles. This job description is not designed to contain comprehensive listing of all responsibilities, as they may change to meet the ongoing needs of clients and the firm. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSLicense to practice law in Pennsylvania 4+ years' experience in estates and trusts law Significant experience drafting estate planning documentsExperience with direct client contactExcellent communication skillsSolid writing and editing skills with a focus on developing thoughtful and persuasive messagingAbility to work in and adapt to a fast-paced work environmentStrong organizational, time management, and project management mindsetCommitment to professionalism, cooperation, and teamworkA strong drive to provide proactive, client-focused legal services BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONSExperience in business and entity formation and governanceExperience with asset transfers, trust funding, and related documentation as part of effectuating an estate planExperience with iManage document management systemExperience filing court documents, electronically preferredActive Notary license ATTRIBUTES OF SUCCESS Analytical Detail Oriented Social Perceptiveness Adaptability ResourcefulIndependently Motivated Communication Skills Critical Thinking Interpersonal Skills Organization WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of the job, the employee must be able to:Travel about 10% of the day to inside or outside worksites beyond the corporate office, representing Tucker Arensberg, P.C. Will perform sedentary work exerting up to ten (10) pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move object. Must see, hear, talk, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity; kneeling, standing, walking, crouching, stooping, reaching, and other similar tasks requiring physical activity. Will operate a computer, fax, copier, and telephone. Work is generally performed in a temperature-controlled office environment. REGULAR SCHEDULEThis is a salaried full-time position with a regular schedule of Monday through Friday work hours.
